Implementation

In 2024, the PacWest Bat Hub piloted a new community science program where volunteer scientists from a variety of organizations and the general public deployed AudioMoth 1.2 units in their communities during the summer solstice to sample bat species occupancy in urban and suburban spaces.

The data were uploaded to the North American Bat Monitoring Program and can be viewed in BatAMP.
